Stubborn Belly Fat

My tummy has always been the last and hardest place for me to lose. Even when I was on the low end of the healthy weight range I still had a little pooch. I was working out five days a week and including strength training but the belly just didn't budge. I've lost inches everywhere but my waist in recent months and I don't know what to do. I did keto and that was the one time I lost belly inches more quickly but it just wasn't sustainable for my budget....

Anyone else have this problem?

Where fat comes off your body first and last can vary by person. Some people, like you, do find that the belly is one of the places it hangs on for longer. I personally wasn't satisfied with how my stomach looked until about 5-6 months after I reached goal weight (with continued resistance training).

I think most people are like this. The first place to gain is usually the last place to lose. Just gotta keep going, you might have a small frame and actually need to be at the lowest point of normal BMI.

Also get a second opinion. We tend to see "fat" that isn't really there after weight loss. Brain takes longer to catch up.
