I use a NuStep recumbent bike at my gym. But, I don't see that option on the "Exercise" section. How do I enter my time using the machine? What option should I use? Thanks!

Does it measure your power output in watts?

Yes. That is one of the possible settings.

Google for 'convert watts to calories'.

Understood. But, here's what I'm saying - since "NuStep" isn't a choice when it comes to cardio exercises. What can I use instead of it? Bycycling? Something else?

http://www.nustep.com/ - This is the machine I use for cardio. But, I don't see it on the list. What can I enter into my cardio page, instead?

Not sure that a recumbent bike has the same efficiency ratio as an upright bike though. (Personally I doubt it.)

You can add your own to the database.
Online version: The link to add you own is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the advice. I know that an upright bike has a better ratio. However, since I use a wheelchair, it's easier for me to transfer to a recumbent bike. I can use my legs somewhat. But, a recumbent bike is easier for me.

I'm totally thrown that there's not a stock entry for recumbent/seated bike, as it's a very common piece of kit.

Me too - it's not in the Compendium of Physical Activities where MFP sources its METs values from.

Does seem weird that unicycling is in the database but recumbent isn't.
Unicycling would be extremely short duration for me.....
