Can I do strength training and cardio on the same day?

I did a LesMills bodypump workout this morning and then was going to go to a Spin Class at lunch but wasn't sure if I should or not.

Yes. But rest is important. You should take at least one day off a week.

Is there a reason why you think you couldn't/shouldn't?

LesMills bodypump is more cardio than strength. It's extremely high rep, low weight.

I do every time I go to the gym: 30 minutes strength and then 20-30 minute run.

Strength still increasing. Cardio fitness improving. Want to reach the 1000 lb club and comfortably run a 5k this upcoming year. This is kind of mid life crisis :-)

It depends on your fitness level and your goals and how intense the workout is.

I do. But my cardio is either long walks or a fitness glider and I use light dumbbells, ankle weights, and body-weight exercises for strength, mostly.

The only advice I have here is that you should do weights and speed work on the same day--if you are doing speed work. Easy days should be easy. Other than that, have at it.
