I am starting part 2 of my weight loss journey today. I had been on weight watchers last year through July and lost 25 lbs, of which I gained 5 lbs back. My current weight is 144 lbs and my goal for now is 135 lbs. I am middle 40's and had a hysterectomy last Thursday which means I cannot really exercise right now for the next 4-6 weeks. I am starting to track diet today and will start going for short walks today with the goal to be able to exercise for 20 minutes on the elliptical within 6 weeks. Wish me luck!

Hope you heal fast! Make sure you give your body time to recover before you worry too much about weight loss, you are already under alot of stress so no need to add more. The docs say protein is important when the body is healing so make sure you are trying to get plenty in your diet.
