Eating less than 1,200 calories a day isn't recommended (unless you have special circumstances you haven't shared or you are doing it under a doctor's care).
You should be eating at least 1,200 calories a day. When you say what you are doing now isn't working, what do you mean? You aren't losing weight? How long have you been doing this and not seeing results?0 -
It doesn't really matter because with this strategy there's a 99% chance you'll just put the weight back on once you're "done". So how about you skip ahead 6 months when you'll be right back here asking how to lose the weight the right way to keep it off?4

Oh boy... No.. that's not realistic. You should be losing about .5 lbs a week...
Why low salt, sugar? Medical reasons? If not then why does it matter..
Less than 1200 is not recommended, that's too low. You don't need to starve.2 -
11lbs in 40 days would be 5.7 weeks, thus around 2lbs per week.
Losing 2lbs a week is only recommended for pretty large folks who have a lot of weight to lose.
I think aiming for 1lbs a week for your weight would be a lot more manageable.
Calories are all that matter when it comes to fat loss. Salt, sugar, protein and calcium don't play a role. Accurately tracking your intake with a digital food scale is all you need to do.

^None of that will have any impact on weight loss. What does matter is a calorie deficit.
To lose 5kg in 40 days (bit of an odd goal) you'd need to be in about a 1000 calorie deficit which is probably a bit more than you should be aiming for given you current weight, you can safely lose around 1% of your bodyweight per week. So you could potentially lose around 3-4kg in that time frame if you take into account that you might get a bit of water weight drop at the beginning.
It's highly unlikely on your stats that you wouldn't be losing on less than 1200 calories (which by the way is the minimum amount you should be getting for adequate nutrition). I'd suggest you check your logging accuracy, you're probably eating more than you think.

I have to be honest: You have an unrealistic and unhealthy goal that - if achieved - will leave you looking less than wonderful. You're going about weight loss in a way that's likely to stress your body, and cause it to retain water that will mask loss of fat and muscle that's happening at the same time.
Set a goal of losing no more than 1% if your body weight weekly. If your goal is to look good, start working on fitness, including both cardiovascular exercise and (especially) progressively challenging strength training. While losing weight at a sensible rate, and getting fit, learn to eat in a way that's nutritious, plus satiating, tasty and practical for you, so you can stay at a healthy weight permanently.
In 40 days you will have lost weight, plus you'll look great and have plenty of vivacious energy. You'll be on course to look and feel great for the whole rest of your life.
That will work. I've been vegetarian for 43 years, lost about a third of my body weight in less than a year, and have stayed at a healthy weight for nearly 2 years since.6 -
I agree with everyone here who suggested eating less than 1200 calories a day is a bad idea. I ate 1200 calories a day for almost five months. Lost the weight but also some muscle mass and my hair started falling out. Go slow!!1
