I’m 37, new empty nester, who is deciding to take this new time on my hands to get back to loving on me. Unfortunately, for a few years now I have a dependency on energy drinks, at least two a day. It’s to the point that I can literally take a nap after consuming one. Can anyone give me some pointers or how to wean off energy drinks without the headaches and feeling like a sloth all day??? Two years ago I tried cold turkey and that’s was horrible. Please help...

Switch to a different source of caffeine to avoid the withdrawal symptoms. Even caffeine pills would help. You're dependent on the caffeine, not addicted to those drinks specifically.

Had the same problem. Also tried to go cold turkey but ended up with the queen mother of all headaches. It. Would. Not. Go. Away!
I just reduced slowly over about two weeks and it was no problem. When you do get off, you will be surprised that your energy level is just as high and that you really don’t need them like you thought. Do a quick google search to find out how bad those things are for you.
    Totally doable.
    Good luck!
