Follow this 10-13 day challenge, filled with healthy choices and dorky references, while psyching up for the new X-Files season! I made this... ;)

Day 1 - For breakfast, have half a cream cheese bagel. Not even real cream cheese, light cream cheese. Make it a whole wheat bagel and exercise while watching "Bad Blood".

Day 2 - Exercise while watching Mulder eat a whole sweet potato pie in "Jose Chung's from Outer Space". Before the day's out, eat a whole sweet potato.

Day 3 - Satisfy your sweet tooth with a high-protein, low-fat treat... perhaps a non-fat tofutti rice dreamsicle? Watch "The Unnatural", then get some exercise playing baseball or a different sport of your choosing.

Day 4 - Like Mulder, ward off hunger and add protein to your day with some sunflower seeds. Unlike Mulder, remember portion control. Watch "Deep Throat", then take a long walk through a forest or field and look for UFOs. Watch out for the landmines.

Day 5 - Exercise while watching "Humbug". The scene where Scully eats a cricket might make you cringe, but they are healthy and can be tasty! Find a bag of Chirps chips and support sustainable protein sources!

Day 6 - Slow down today. Watch "All Things" while eating a salad. Focus on your breathing, pray or meditate, take a long walk. Choose your own path.

Day 7 - Dance (in front of a mirror if you would like) while watching "Dreamland". Eat a 6 oz container of yogurt - plain yogurt into which you stir bee pollen if you are on a bee pollen kick. Otherwise, stir in some flax, hemp, or chia seeds or some fruit.

Day 8 - Exercise while watching "Bad Blood". Eat pizza today but, since delivered pizza might be poisoned by vampires, make your own using a whole wheat bagel or English muffin, a dab of tomato sauce, some veggies, and a sprinkle of cheese.

Day 9 - Take a long walk in the woods, unless you live in Florida, then turn your evening into a par-tay! For dinner, have a few ounces of cheese with a glass of red wine and watch "Detour". Add some whole wheat crackers and fruit so you are strong enough to stack furniture at your next work conference.

Day 10 - Prepare a healthy seafood dinner that would make Captain Ahab proud. After you enjoy your omega-3s, watch "Beyond the Sea" and either "stretch" the truth with Boggs or "run" with it.

Bonus days...

Day 11 - Exercise while watching "Piper Maru". Avoid the black oil at all costs. But, get a little taste of the action with antioxidant-rich black drizzles of balsamic vinegar on lean meat or veggies.

Day 12 - Watch "Kill Switch" early, over a healthy breakfast, and become thoroughly terrified of your computer. Unplug for the rest of the day and get some exercise outside, away from technology.

Day 13 - More huevos rancheros, por favor. Watch your favorite Lone Gunman episode while exercising more than Frohike has in his entire life, then load up on lean protein and veggies with some eggs and salsa.
