It's better to not rely on motivation, it comes and goes through weight loss. People often start off full of piss and vinegar and then when the momentum slows down they get discouraged by it and struggle to work through it thinking something is wrong.. but it's really not, like anything else the novelty wears off for a while.. like never having a dishwasher and then getting one, you get super excited to put your dishes in there instead of washing them but after a while.. its meh, i hate dishes.. but you still gotta do the dishes no matter if you are motivated to do them or not.3

I'm very head strong and not any issue with myself , but so like to help and try to keep other on the path and can work for some and could dissipate for others.

I guess it would depend on how long your weight loss journey is. Mine was 2 years long, 165 pounds lost. Had to just keep going through the roller coaster.1

Very true , im geared more towards a life style change for the long term even when I think I've hit my goal. Doing it for my kids and just better health ingeneral .1

Yes, you do have to stick with it. For sure. A lot of people think it ends once the weight is gone, maintenance is harder then losing.2
