Ems or Tens machine

I like the idea of adding a unit to help with toning. I know someone who uses a Tens machine to try and tighten their core, but read that’s not really what they are good for. So wondering if you use one, what model do you use and if you feel it’s helping.

You're thinking of the sorts of machines that the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo advertises. I think the best way to achieve a strong core is through exercises... If by tight, you mean firm, then that's down to diet as well.

tens machines are for pain - not "toning" muscles. if everyone could just hook themselves up to a machine and build a ripped body, don't you think everyone would be doing that?

They can be used for serious rehab and severe neuromuscular problems, but not as part of a normal workout plan.

no toning comes from losing fat over any existing muscle you have to get a "toned" look. you cannot tone muscle.
