Just had a baby

So baby was born a week ago. I feel ready to get back to it And needing some friends to help me along the way :) I was a whopping 17st 4lbs just before I had little one and haven't been weighed sinse but defo needing to get back into shape . Feel free to add me. ^_^

    I had my baby 2w ago, I feel great as if I didn't just give birth but I think you should wait till the 6-8w mark to do anything too physical.
    Just watch what you eat while you wait - if you are breast feeding I read you can burn up to 850 calories a day just by making milk, moderate walks should be fine or some light excersises.
    Plus if you work too hard you can make your bleeding get heavier again

    I used to feel compelled to comment on every postpartum post there is here. Now I’m like literally when I see “I just had a baby 3.5843 seconds ago and I’m ready to “get back out there” or “start with slow daily walks” or start counting calories my mind instantly says ... she’ll learn. OP, you’ll figure out SOON what you can and can’t do, should and shouldn’t do...ALWAYS ask your dr when in doubt. Good luck chica!
