I’ve had a separated abdominal muscle since giving birth to my oldest who is now 12 years old and has expanded with the birth of my youngest who is now 7 years old. I don’t want to continue to use it as an excuse but I can tell a huge difference in my ability to push my self, pre and post separation. I’ve considered surgery but heard the recovery time be as little as 8 weeks to a year.
Is there anyone out there with diastasis recti that can give me advise as to how they achieved their fitness goal with or without surgery?
