1 more run and I will be in my final week of C25k. I had a strong run today; further and stronger than ever. My right knee felt a little tweeky after about 1.5 miles, but i slowed my pace and tried to be deliberate about how i landed on my right leg. I never really had a great deal of weight to lose when I started this year, I just wanted to improve myself. My wife lost 76 + lbs over the past 2 years and started running. It was clear to see how much better she felt in all areas. I guess I wanted to feel athletic again and live a longer healthier life than my father. And, I admit that I am pround to weigh around the same as I did at 17 years old when many men my age are well past a healthy weight.

That's great - congrats with finishing up C25k! Congrats to your wife too!

I'm in my 40's in the best shape of my life and feeling the best I have ever felt! Getting older is not an excuse to not workout and get healthy. I see so many people giving up. That will not be me.

    Keep going strong!

I'm missing that awesome button right now! I had to make do with Inspiring instead.

I'm also 48 and feeling great  been in maintenance for close to 5 years  Started getting up early on week days to exercise in 2012, and its still something I do.
