Feeling Empowered!

I am just so excited this morning about some milestones that have occurred this week, that I wanted to make a note of them so I can look back and remember how good they felt.
I am a pretty big gal, so I know it will take a bit of time before any weight loss will be noticeable in my clothing. This past weekend, I went to a pool party and packed a bathing suit I had purchased last Christmas for a trip to Dominican. When I purchased it, it was very snug and I had to have my dear husband help get the back part pulled up. Well, this weekend, the suit was loose on me... not even touching my skin at the leg holes, under the arms, and or at the bust. I was so delighted to finally see a small glimpse of success.
Last night I put on a pair of jeans for the first time in two months. These jeans had been tight everywhere, but especially in the calf area, to the point of discomfort. Well, now they are loose, and are have become quite long on me because they don't hug my frame anymore.
This morning I broke a milestone on the scale.... I passed the weight where I quit and throw in the towel last year. I am seeing that it can be done, and feeling assured that I will indeed see victory over my weight and the food addictions. The temple is being restored one faithful step at a time!

Congratulations!! NSVs are the best because that scale can be a liar. Even when the scale doesn't move you can find something that has changed whether it is looser clothes, increased fitness or being able to tie your shoes easily. Those are the things that keep us going Keep up the great work. Whatever you are doing is obviously working0

So very proud of you. Take it one step at a time and enjoy the small success of the restoration of your temple. they will lead to the BIG success. It is such a great feeling to do something for yourself as getting healthy. You know I often here people say how hard it is to lose weight to be honest when you make your mind up about something it is not the hard. My journey hasn't been easy but it hasnt been hard either. I tried to look at in baby steps and it got me this far. I lost over 55lbs and still pushing toward the mark. Keep doing what you are doing. Great job for you and next summer you will need a whole new bathing suit and a whole new wardrobe to go with the new and enhanced YOU!!!!! Be excited about your journey.0
