Hi there, So I'm 5ft 3in I lost 56lbs in the last year from working my butt off running and weights, I fell off wagon the last few months and gained 15lbs from eating *kitten* and not working out so much, I am a mom of 2 under 5 and am 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, I recently started hitting the gym again, I am just wondering is it OK to loose the weight Ive gained, and them just gained the normal weight for my pregnancy , but get rid of this thigh and glute fat?
I believe woman knows there body and what it is they can endure during pregnancy and I feel wonderful running again and craving very healthy foods ! I just am wondering if other moms have been in this position ? sorry if this is complicated lol
thank you

I think the best bet for most women is to consult with their doctor about weight loss during pregnancy.

Running (for women who have been doing it regularly already) is generally okay for pregnant women and while eating "very healthy foods" is always good, you want specific advice for your situation if you're contemplating a calorie deficit. If you're just getting back to running, you'll want to let your doctor know that as well.

I wouldn't aim for weight loss but any exercise and eating healthy will be good for you and baby. Talk to your doctor about a good calorie goal for you and never exercise if it feels uncomfortable or if your doctor advises you to stop.

The general recommendation is that anything you were doing prepregnancy, you can continue into pregnancy. I'd hold off on the weight loss till you talk with your doc.
