I don't wear my phone... I carry it with me around the gym, or put it on a cardio machine.2

Fit belt. They make them for around the waist. I stopped using arm bands.4
-
Wireless headphones. Phone for music goes in shorts/sweats pocket or next to bench/piece of equipment.2
-
I run in clothes with pockets.1

My pocket or next to my water bottle/chalk1

I wear a FlipBelt for running and iphone fits well into one of the pockets. At the gym I usually don't have my phone with me but if I do my running pants have a specific cell phone slot/pocket, and most of my shorts have either a pocket or pouch that I can put it into.2

My case is too large to fit in my flipbelt, so I usually carry it in my hand when at the gym or running alone. If I'm running outside and have my dogs with me, I clip it to the front of my sports bra.1

For a phone, I use a belt... Any of several work pretty well.
I use a bicep strap for my ipod(I still use wired headphones.1 -
Wireless headphones and phone sits next to my water bottle, where ever they happen to get set.1

Can't stand to have an arm band on when I exercise, so I switched to a Flipbelt.1

No band. Phone in pocket for most lifting or set on floor. Run with phone in hand and wrap cord around hand. Or no phone.1
-
Bluetooth ear buds and my phone either stays in the gym bag (while lifting) or in a waist belt for running/outdoor cardio. No arm band, no wires.1

Bluetooth is quickly making the armbands pretty irrelevant.1

Not until someone develops a decent set of around the ear Bluetooth earbuds.2 -
For those that run with your phone in a Flipbelt, is sweat ever an issue? Do you put it in a plastic bag or anything?1

I tend to sweat a lot and the fabric of the Flipbelt is heavy enough that it's never been an issue for me.1 -
I put my phone in a Buddy Pouch, it's a magnetic pouch that sticks to my waistband, you can't even tell it's there.1

I don't wear one. I use Bluetooth headphones and put phone in my legging pocket or carry it. I hated using those arm bands. Love my headphones!0

Left (non-dominant) forearm just below the elbow, for running only.0
-
Left inner forearm, but that’s only if I don’t have a pocket and am going for more that 2.5 miles0

Never had an issue with sweat, I do put it in a plastic bag when I'm running in rain.0 -

Thank you so much for your comments guys!!! I bought the arm band when I first started and thought I was missing out for never actually using it. I usually put it in my pocket (sometimes falls off) or leave it on the floor by the equipment I’m working on. Never thought about leaving it in the gym bag, that’s a great idea although I’m still answering important calls. The other day I saw a bunch of phones on the floor by pillar, the gym should have a cell phone drop box, lol.0

I have an 'Armpocket' which I love, I wear it on my left arm just under my armpit. It's great when riding my horse or running, I forget it's there must of the time.1

No, you are not alone. I have been running for many years and have never taken my phone along. However, my husband just got me a pair of blue tooth headphones for Christmas which won't work with my ipod shuffle, so I have taken it on my last 2 runs. But it's winter and I can put it in my jacket pocket. I am not sure if I will use it when the temps are above freezing and I don't wear a jacket. Although, I must admit, I do feel a tad bit safer knowing that I have it on me if I need it.1
