If you're going to bother going to the extremes the program stipulates, why not do it properly, follow all the rules, and get off the scale too?

I understand doing this if you have a chronic medical condition that may involve food sensitivities (though even then it should be done in consultation with your doctor), but this is completely unnecessary for anyone else. It's an elimination diet, not a weight loss diet.
As someone who actually has food sensitivities, and who is currently trying to establish if there are any others, I just don't get why you would subject yourself to this if it's not medically required, let alone suggest other perfectly healthy (other than possibly weight-related) people do it too.2
