What's is going on?

So, the past couple of weeks, I've been throwing up if I don't eat at certain times or drink. Doctor said there is nothing wrong as far she can tell, and she said my program for weight loss is not causing it either, and I had GI scope done last year for other issues. It's getting annoying because I have had people ask me if I'm pregnant, which I am totally not, or think I have the flu and stay away from me. On top of that, a few times it has happened while I have been driving and there's nothing like throwing up with your head out of the window. Any idea? Does anyone else have issues like this?

I used to have issues like that-- if my eating or sleeping schedule got messed up, I would get sick to my stomach and occasionally vomit. Turned out I (like every other member of my family, go figure) had irritable bowel syndrome. Lucky for me, I was diagnosed when I was young (middle school) and I've mostly grown out of it.

Do you feel bad before you throw up, or is it just a sudden vomit attack?

The only advice I can really give you is just make sure you stay hydrated and eat when your body is accustomed to it.

    Food allergy?

I'd also see a different doctor... that just doesn't seem right.

Keep snack bars and water bottles with you at all times. Did you have blood work done to see if it is an insulin problem? I had a friend who was hypoglycemic and he had to eat on schedule or got extremely sick.

Get a 2nd opinion. Have another GI scope done if necessary - a lot can change in a year.

My doctor tested me for it but I will have her test me again. Thanks.
