I've managed to lose 10 pounds over the past 30 days. I applied financial principles to dieting and it has been working so far.

Budget your calories like you budget money I would suppose. Don't spend money you don't have. Dont eat calories you don't have.7

Yes this is exactly how I deal with it. I treat my calories as if they are money and spend them on things I eat during the day. If I can't afford something, I either don't eat it or I go for a walk with my fitbit to earn those extra calories (Money). You could take it even further and bank some of your calories for the next day, not something I'm really a fan of though.7
