I have been pretty fit and sports-oriented almost all my life, but now with menopause, knee problems, sleep problems, health problems (which are recovered finally) and work - I let my workouts become inconsistent the past 2 years. So I have been back on a routine since early September and it has been slow going.
I am going to get back in the routine of tracking calories and being consistent on the workouts and sleep. I will set a short term 5 day goal that I can keep till 12/31 and then start again with a new challenge or join someone else's for an accountability partner.
12/26 - missed my workout...tracked calories
12/27 - hour workout and tracked calories [saw that I was in a surplus]

12/28 - workout an hour; tracked calories; walked more by parking further away for 2 appointments
I am entering workouts, water and sleep into Fitbit. I am going to see how they sync...
I have Strava for cycling but not sure how it syncs with Fitbit or MFP
I am entering food into MFP [maybe I need to enter water into MFP]. I am also noting whether I take my vitamins. I packed a months' worth into ziploc bags

Okay, I linked Fitbit and MFP...have it all entered and will enter food on MFP and exercise, water and sleep on Fitbit. Don't want to duplicate. It is making me very mindful of how many calories I am actually eating.0

Good going. Tracking and accountability is so helpful. You’re absolutely correct and ever since I started taking my new all natural supplements, I have noticed my cravings have drastically decreased and I feel much better.0 -
Did you make your goal? I thought I'd follow along. I like that it's a short term goal. My mind needs that, then I can extend another 5! Rgt now I've given myself a two week goal of no processed sugars and making my kickboxing class 8 times! I'm on day 20
