Does anyone know if Fitbit calories will count as exercise logged with the pure start challenge?

For past challenges that required exercise logging, Fitbit activity adjustments haven't counted as exercise sessions.

I have found that with Fitbit and Garmin you have to have a minimum number of steps before MyFitnessPal will begin to count calories, (add extra calories to you daily allowance). For me, I have to get at least 8,000 step before I start seeing the exercise calories. The number of steps will depend on what level of activity you have set in MyFitnessPal. I have a moderate level of activity.
