Successful mom trip! (Binge eating and maintenance)

My mom visited for ten days and I didn’t experience a true binge! I did not gain weight, either. This is surprising bc, I love my mom, but she causes me stress. I also live in the south and all we do is eat when she’s here. Did I mention she’s a pastry chef? It’s also the week before my period. My holiday plan was to maintain over her trip and I did it! That’s the first time in over a decade that I haven’t had a 15+ lbs weight gain over Christmas.

What do y’all do to stay motivated the rest of the year?

As soon as I discover that I'll tell you. I'm only trying to stay motivated until my next scheduled meal.

Great job! I find maintaining a lot harder than losing

    Nicely done

This year is my 5th at maintenance, it takes effort just like it does when losing weight but its so worth it.
Motivation can come or go but good habits when they are formed last and last.

All the best for 2018

I think this is the true test of commitment - post holidays! Staying focused is key. Stay strong - you can do it :).
