*Sigh* Oh how I will miss you my dear friend....

Since May 2012, I have lost 94 lbs. Throughout my journey thus far, I have not deprived myself of anything. I have always ate/drank what I want and when I want it so long as I stay within my calorie allotment. I have done great with that. As of recently though, these last few pounds are coming off ever so slowly and I think I know why. It's a weekly cycle that I am in. For instance, I will weigh in at my lowest weight on Friday morning, drink Saturday, recover Sunday, all while staying within my allotment and exercising both days, but I will wake up Monday and be 3-6 lbs heavier. This is every week. I know it's mostly water retention (alcohol makes me retain like crazy, and yes I drink enough water per day, 120 ounces or more) and it takes most if not all of the next week to get back down and then its a repeat the very next weekend. This is why I am going to make August my b****! I am going to break this cycle. I know that when you get close to goal weight it becomes a slow process anyways, but I feel that I am hindering it even more. With that being said, I bid farewell to my good friend known as "Alcohol" for the month of August. If I see a change in the cycle, we will meet again only on special occasions. If I do not, than I will see you the first weekend of September for a kick a** celebration! Until we meet again.... :drinker:
