Hi

Having used this for over a year I have recently moved up my Apple Watch from a Fitbit. What it shows as exercise in my diary bears nowhere near to what I have burned during that exercise. I have check d all my settings I must have been going backwards as it gave me 97 extra calories in 2 hours of walking up hills and at a very brisk pace. My Apple Watch tells me I burned 659 calories which I agree with.

Keep in mind that the Apple Watch is a smartwatch "first" with some fitness features, and fitbits are fitness devices "first" with some smart features. Most fitness devices give a higher calorie burn than actual, but Garmin devices seem to be a little more accurate for calorie burn IMO.

When I first got my Garmin fenix 5x, I thought it was ridiculous how little of a calorie burn I was getting, but after tracking my calories for a while and using the numbers that the Garmin was giving me, I found it to be much closer than other devices I used.
