It's New Year's Day but only by coincidence!

I don't make NY resolutions -- but it's NYD so not a bad time to say hello for the first time here!
I lost a lot of weight in 2016, and then spent 2017 maintaining, but I really want to lose more. So I started MyFitnessPal a little over a week ago. It has revealed to me just how much I snack. Healthy snacks mostly, but way too many.
The barrier I'm trying to break through is 190. I've been in the low 190s for a year. Time to move onward and downward!
I live in New Jersey, USA. My husband is also looking to lose weight. (We seem to take turns year by year being the overweight one :-) I'll be exploring MFP and interested in relevant groups. I think I may be too old (59 in a month) for the middle-aged groups -- yikes! :-)

Hi David - I've been using MFP for the past few years to maintain... and I've recently had a spike in weight. Time to tighten up for me as well. Welcome!0

Welcome! I'm 38 and I'm a middle aged group. You'd be right at home and accepted I'm sure! Good luck!0
