I monitor nutrients in my recipes using this app, however the sodium level on one I entered was suspect. Google search shows 2325 g. sodium in 1 t. salt. MFP shows 3969 g in 1 t., AND 5.7 g. Sugar! Since when does kosher salt contain sugar? Please advise.

I also got wonky data for a recipe, showing the calorie count way too low and the sodium levels off the charts. Since when do fresh vegetables contain thousands of milligrams of sodium?

Gigo. You have to check the entries you pick for accuracy as you build the database. One of the limitations of the large, user-entered database is the number of erroneous entries.

I have never had this problem. If it doesn’t match what my recipe has it usually is a logging issue on my part. I picked the wrong ingredient when loading
