I have been on various doses of steroids since June and am now on a low dose for the next six month! I just cannot stop eating - mostly wanting chocolate and it's driving me crazy! It's as tho my willpower has gone out the windows! The steroids are also making me depressed! What a great way to start 2018! Sorry folk.

    Steroids can increase your appetite but they can't put chocolate in your mouth. You need to be tougher on yourself.

    Fill your self up on a ton of veg at meal times.

    Find low calorie snacks to keep on hand, I'm in the UK and some of my favourites are Aldi chocolate benefit light bars, under 70 calories. Also Aldi chocolate dessert pots, 89 calories.

    Tell yourself that you will NOT go over your calories.
