Staying Motivated

Hi Friends,
Here's a question for you..how do you stay motivated and excited by eating clean and healthy? I know that it makes me feel more energized and focused, but I still have to fight myself when my lunch is a salad and not something more decadent that temporarily makes me feel good. (Emotional eating at it's best, my friends).

i dont eat 'clean'. well, i wash my fruits and veg but you know what i mean. i do eat what fits in my calories. i had BBQ and coleslaw for lunch. it will be rigatoni for dinner. warm. filling. still within my calories.
i go in stages of eating salads. usually more so in the summer months lol but i ENJOY salad, and fill them with things i love, so it never feels like im being 'punished'. tomorrow for lunch im having salad with sliced up prime rib and cranberry viniagrette leftover from xmas1 -
I don't - stay motivated and excited by eating all the foods I like, balanced and portioned to my needs. That way I feel good before, during and after each meal, so I don't have to fight myself all the time (it still takes some discipline, but not often and not much, so it's very tolerable).3

For me, seeing results (even if small) keep me motivated to stay on track. Big results are made with little steps.... the cleaner I eat the easier it is to stay on track.0
