Just like the song lyric title suggests, what have YOU done today, to make you feel proud?
So many people...only focus on the bad things that happen, let's use this thread to focus on the good, let's big ourselves up, celebrate our own achievements, be happy that WE have done something great today.
This isn't big headedness, or blowing our own trumpet, or being self centred, this is self-esteem boosting, celebrating ourselves, positive thought provoking, GOOD!
I'll kick start...today I felt proud at work when I watched one of my service users interact with a shop keeper and I realised I actually make a difference in the lives of the people I work for.

I noticed a car with the hood up in the school pickup line, realized they might need a jump, asked, and gave them a jump.
Really just basic decency and not something to be so proud of, but normally I’m oblivious and focused on my own life, and would have gotten halfway home before suddenly realizing that I should have asked whether they needed a jump. Then I would have told myself that I’m a self-centered jerk for the rest of the day.2 -
