I'm sure you have heard all kinds of advice through the years, and you can most likely trust the advice that you find the most boring: There are no healthy or unhealthy foods - it's all about dose and frequency. A healthy diet is varied and balanced - enough of everything you need every day, but not too much of anything over time. Eat some food from all the food groups every day, get in your five-a-day, don't overdo sweets and snacks, don't until you're stuffed, sit down, tune in, and eat your meals in a relaxed setting.

The longing for easy food is one of the reasons so many are overweight. Good food takes time, effort and attention, to prepare and to eat. We need that, but we try to ignore it, so instead, we obsess about food, eat all the time, and don't pay attention.

Good food isn't boring. Eat food you like, and enjoy it. Set reasonable boundaries.

I try to eat bit healthier, avoid soft drinks and fast food as much as I can, but for the most part I just count those calories and macros and stay within my daily/weekly goals. I am never able to hit my protein it seems but I always try to break 100g at least. That's what I need to work on.
