Iam 47 male 234lbs large frame exercise 5 times a week reasonably good diet and my waist wont budge?!

    Then you are consuming too many calories.

    Fat loss comes from eating less calories than you burn.

    When you say your waist won't budge, do you mean you're not losing weight at all or you just aren't seeing fat loss on your waist?

    If you're not losing weight at all and you've been calorie counting for more than a few weeks, then you're not logging accurately. If you're just not seeing loss on the waist, you can't spot reduce fat, it comes off where it comes off across the whole body and with a large frame you sometimes can't see the progress in the mirror.
