Hello my name is Lacey and I'm fairly new to MyFitnessPal. I just started working out today let me remind you I know nothing about Fitness. So my question is the more calories I burn does that mean I can eat more even though I'm on a 1200 calorie count?

P.s Need friends who will be committed to encouraging each other.

Yes, though I personally think it's not ideal for long term for many people.

Excessive activity can cause recovery problems or make people feel hungrier, which in turn might make it difficult to adhere to calorie goal or make them think they "have to cardio" to eat ice cream or what have you.

A basic goal of activity, with strength training while fitting food/calories reasonably into your diet is what I recommend.

MFP already has your deficit accounted for in your daily goal, so if you do activity above and beyond what you included in your activity level setting log it and eat back the calories you earn.
