I'd love to friend other people who are following a low-carb (Keto, Paleo, etc) diet for motivation, to share successes, and tips for when I'm not feeling so enthused.
I started following a ketogenic diet right before Christmas, and have already lost 12 lbs over the past 13 days. And have yet to do any exercise.
I'm seriously in love with this diet so far. The best part about it (besides the results) are that I'm rarely hungry.

Hey! I'm on the keto diet as well - I went on it back in 2015 and had AMAZING results (I lost over 30lbs in 3 months - with no exercise) but fell off the wagon after a while. So I'm back!

I've been doing Keto for about 3 months. I've lost about 40lb. I'm super happy with the diet, I'm just now adding more complexing foods like soup.3

Wrogii, you can check your macro levels under your diary. The "nutrition" tab will give you that option. Keto macros are 70-90% fat, 15-20% protein, 5% carbs.3

awesome azyaria! I was just thinking about the same thing earlier and then I saw this thread.
wrogii, like ggirgis said you can customize your macro ratios to suit your needs. I've set mine to 20%carb 65%fat and 15% protein for paleo/primal, in line with this article:

I have had one good run at keto...lost 40 lbs in 6 months from. Once I got there felt good. Then slowly got off keto and gained back about 15-20 lbs of it over almost two years. Started again on January 1. This time I am going to focus on health instead of the number on the scale because every time I get under a certain number I cheat a little which ends up being a lot. but I am definitely looking forward to hearing all of your stories to help me stay on track!2

Started Keto today after hauling out all of my food and replacing it. Feeling optimistic— I’m getting married in November and I would like to feel good about my wedding pictures. I’m tired of hiding from the camera.2

Me! I've been on 8 weeks and down 10 with 30 to go! feel free to add me. Its been fairly easy to follow for me. Sticking to basics - eggs, bacon, meat, fats & green veggies. Occasional 90% dark chocolate. My nephew lost 99 pounds and has kept it off for 6 months1

I do Keto, and have since August. I have lost nearly 40 pounds. The weight doesn't fly off me like it does some people, but its still coming off, so im happy with it. CICO, never worked that well for me after having my gallbladder removed.4

Need more Keto friends. I had my first Keto flu this weekend. I thought I was gonna die! LOL! A little dramatic, but seriously, it was no bueno! I drank 3oz of pickle juice and ate two pickle spears to stop the shaking. The headache started to subside about 10 minutes after. I almost thought about throwing in the towel and went off track a little this weekend. I need to learn about how to combat the 'flu' next time around. I'm still in it to win it baby! Haha! I sent out some friend requests, but please, feel free to add me. Just mention Keto in the message and I'll accept. My diary is viewable too and I don't mind if you have advise to offer or tips about what could be a set back. I have the premium MFP so that I can track my macros and its been a great help.
