    You can go to the friends tab and type in the username, then you can click add. There may be an easier way but this is what I've been doing. Feel free to add me!

    in the app, click their name, then click their name again in the new pop up. friend button is on the right

    I thought we used to be able to search by age or location but maybe not anymore. I guess you either add real life friends through your contacts or like was said, see others looking for friends and click or search by username
