Well I know for a lot of you, like myself, are having to endure this horrific winter weather. I have never liked the cold, but I was able to tolerate it before I lost weight. Now 52lbs lighter, I can’t handle it at all! Any of you guys can relate?

God, yes. If you figure out a solution, please let me know. I've found that the little footwarmers you can place on the bottom of your socks work pretty well when I have to be outdoors (I got a big box on Amazon). And I've always got a big mug of tea to warm my hands up at work.

Yup same problem here. It's become kind of a joke amongst my friends and family because I used to be the one who was always hot, lol.

    Yup.

I have a very nice array of very pretty woolen sweaters and socks.
I also have an electric blanket for when I have to work at my desk.
I knitted myself a pair of woolen pant legs (just the part that goes for ankle to knees) to sleep in as I just can't seem to keep my feet warm during the night and don't trust an electric blanket on me when I'm asleep. (I'm also weird in that I can't stand wearing socks when I sleep)
I collect lovely scented bath salts and treat myself to steamy hot 'me-soup' as often as I can (provided it's not that particular time of the month).
My standard boots for daily wear have a nice fuzzy warm lining.
Tea is my one true companion.

I used to love the cold weather as summer was just miserable. Now I long for the warm days of summer.

I complained about it to my doctor, who then proceeded to have all my hormone levels checked to make sure I didn't throw something out of whack by losing too much too fast. Sadly (well or so) it seems that it's simply my body struggling to deal with 35kg less of insulating mass.

I hear ya. Doesn't help that it's -30C around here right now.

    I love my alpaca socks.

I just went for a run in -26C(I think about -15F). I am always the cold one. Hypothyroid always has my hands and feet like ice. In beautiful 20C summer weather I am in pants and tshirt with a sweater on top and if the wind is up I will skip the sandals and add wool socks, everyone else will be considering shorts in that weather.

The best clothing as far as I am concerned is wool. Merino socks, tights for under real pants, merino short sleeves with long sleeves on top. All of my outer gear is down topped with merino scarves, touques, and mittens. Pricy, but I find them on sale or in used clothing shops and snatch them up. Wool slippers and blankets are near my couch and of course lots of tea/coffee.

I'm only down 11 lbs., but I have hypothyroid and low blood pressure, so I've pretty much been cold all my life, lol. I'm an at-home, homeschooling mom, so I sit here in my fuzzy pjs and warm socks with a heater going most of the day and a kitteh on my lap. I really thought that moving south would mean winters would be easier, but not this year!

Yup. Always in an alpaca hat I got mittens (much warmer than gloves) that have insert pockets for hand warmers, space heater in office, smart wool socks and loose shoes or boots, layers of fleece and a quality puffy coat. Sadly, my crazy warm shearling coat doesn’t fit anymore.

Yes. I'm cold and I live about 45 minutes south of Montreal... and we're dealing with another )(*& cold snap.

I did find that I did re-adjust a little, and I'm not sure if taking some more iron supplements helped or not.

I am so looking forward to this, I've been known to wear a t-shirt at work, because my coworkers are cold, so they have the heat cracked, their still cold, while I'm sweating...
