i know this is a bit of a dumb and self-explanatory question. but when weighing tangerines, you would weigh without the peel right? so 100g of tangerines WITHOUT the peel is 53 calories?

I found 100 grams tangerine as 56 calories, but yes the weight is of the part of the fruit you actually eat.

I weigh the whole fruit. Eat the edible part. Weigh the uneaten part. Do math.

    thanks

Yes, the calorie count of 100g of tangerines is without the peel. No use calorie counting the parts you don't eat. Same with bananas and watermelon.
