Can Garmin Express handle multiple user accounts?

I figure someone in here will know from recent experience.

I've been a Garmin user for more than a decade. Currently I'm using a Fenix 5X. Mostly it syncs through my phone, but sometimes I plug it in to update the maps (through Garmin Express), and it also syncs when I do that.

Beth's Vivoactive 3 arrived today. It's going to be an early birthday present when she gets home.

We share a computer, so we have a single instance of Garmin Express. I know Express can handle multiple devices - can it handle multiple user accounts?

    Huh.

Never tried. My wife and I have our own systems (so I don't have to clear my browser history).

Curious if it does allow this now. Have you asked on the Garmin forums?

My husband and I share a laptop. We both have Garmin devices linked to separate accounts and have never had a problem

If she sets up her own garmin connect account i think there is a way to change accounts in garmin express.

open garmin express and go to tools and content.
go to the garmin connect tab and there should be a button to change the account.
put her account info in and see if that works.

I thought that had to be the case, but if it wasn't I figured I'd better set things up before I give this to her. Thanks for the confirmation!

She uses Chrome, I mostly use Firefox because I'm old school like that - and like you said, general browser stuff, like we can each have our own email open.

And most of the time the watch does everything through the phone, but you can plug it into the USB and have it update that way, too. I don't know whether she'll ever need to do that, but I was going to set everything up for her.

Awesome, thank you for the detailed instructions!
