Macro’s vs slimming world

Confused!!
I’m about to start a 60 day weight loss challenge and will be balancing my macros again. (Back to feeling like I live off chicken haha but I did lose 8lbs).
So slimming world?? I just don’t understand how people on slimming world lose so much weight !!! They seem to be able to eat loads!
What’s the difference between the two? Is one better ? One healthier ?
I felt so restricted doing macro whereas slimming world seems to have lots of choices. I just don’t understand how they lose weight on the foods allowed?

People lose weight by being in a calorie deficit.
How does tracking macros make you feel restricted? I follow IIFYM, have plenty of freedom in my food choices, don't live off chicken (or any other protein), and eat mountains...0 -
The boot camp is 45% protein which is pretty high and the calories reduce to about 1300 toward the end. I felt like I was having a lot of chicken fish and eggs to hit the protein. Carbs was 25% so I was limiting that too. Probably felt certain foods weren’t worth the calorie/macros.0
