    I watched what my logging averages were over time, then adjusted to up my protein a couple of percentage points.

    I do 40c, 30p, 30f.

    Cheers, h.

    I aim for 40 carbs : 30 protein : 30 fat, but as long as I get 40-50 carbs : 25-30 protein : 25-30 fat I'm good

    I don't do percentages... I have set protein and fat amounts in grams, then carbs make up the rest

    45 carbs, 30 fat, 25 protein

    But as long as I get over 100g of protein I'm happy.

    C= 40
    F= 25
    P= 35

    Am in caloric surplus until end of Jan and doing a PHUL programme until then (was a 12 week programme) Will adjust percentages again when losing fat. Carbs will be lower and fat higher.

    I have been on the higher fats, mainly from eggs and feta cheese, carb are low. Protein is leveling.

    So far losing lbs.

    C = 45
    F = 30
    P = 25

    With an aim for ~ 180g protein and no more than 90g fats, after that I don't really mind.

    Yep, cos weight loss is all about your deficit, not your macros

    Indeed this is very true calories in vs calories out.

    However if, like me, you want to retain muscle or add some strength while losing, keeping decent protein level is important. But don't forget carbs as they are important. Overall a balance diet in a deficit is very important.

    Good card like veggies with good 2 g per pound your weight, you could put on mean muscle and them two items will protect the muscle from being eaten
