I’ve read over and over about how people underestimate their calorie intake but thought for sure that couldn’t happen to me. Then I was bored and thought to work out the recipe for holiday cookies I had been previously logging using a general descriptor. Turns out I was under-reporting almost 150 calories per day which is a ton when you are petite and its more than 10% of goal. Argh. Just glad I caught it now but it stinks because I thought I was doing so well, and was just waiting for a whoosh. Thanks for letting me vent. My fam is morbidly obese and would throttle me if they heard me lamenting 150 calories.

Good work. Hard numbers are better than generic. Generic is ok in a pinch.
If you’re keeping a food diary and crunching numbers like this, I’d say you’re doing very well. No human undertaking is mistake free. Keep going.
