Hi friends,

I’m going a biggest loser challenge and looking for workout tips and recipes. I can’t utilize fake sweeteners as they give me migraines. Any help is appreciated!!

    This is one of my favorite breakfast recipes. I find that it's packed with onions, peppers, tomatoes, spices, and eggs and it's very filling, and actually relatively low in calories. The entire meal is only 771 calories, so I split it in two and eat it over 2 days. So each meal is only 385 calories, 29g carbs, 24g fat, 16g protein, 3g fiber.

    I use the recipe out of my Instant One Pot recipe book, but there is a million versions out there. You can also adjust this by adding more veggies, more spices, etc if you want.

    Shakshuka

    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 tbsp. 240 0 28 0 0 0
    Alfresco Farms - Pasture Raised Eggs, 4 egg (50g) 280 2 20 24 280 0
    Onion, Yellow - Medium, 1 Medium 46 11 0 1 3 2
    Generic - Bell Pepper -> Red, 6 oz (1 Whole Pepper) 54 7 0 2 0 0
    Generic - Ground Cumin Net Carbs, 0.5 tbsp 4 1 1 1 2 1
    Stonemill Essentials - Paprika, 0.5 tbsp 10 2 1 1 1 0
    Happy Harvest(corrected Sodium) - Stewed Tomatoes, 1.8 cup (123g) 123 28 0 4 875 4
    Stonemill Essentials - Garlic Powder, 0.5 tbsp 14 3 0 1 1 0
    Total: 771 54 50 34 1,162 7

    I also, have a protein shake 1 or 2 times a day. 1 cup Almond Milk, 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt, 1/2 banana, chocolate protein, 1 tblsp peanut butter

    I get most of my recipes on Pinterest...

    As exercise goes, I mostly cycle and lift a few days per week.

    This ^ Lots of good recipes in the Recipes forum.

    I also like eatingwell.com, skinnytaste.com, and the lower calorie sections of foodnetwork.com, cooking.com and allrecipes.com. Doing a search for 'low calorie recipes' will get you pages and pages of results.

    I like the skinnytaste blog and cookbooks. Make the slow-cooker recipes so you only have to cook every few days!
