I decided to treat myself to a steak today. After weighing out the steak it's 640 calories but I'm planning a marinating it in butter before I grill it would you count the butter and calories when you marinate it or just assume that it's going to burn off.? I eat my steak rare if that matters Thanks all!

If it all burned of there wouldn't be any calories left, or flavor, so you would just be wasting butter. Since it tastes good there is still butter on your steak. Just count the butter.2

Butter counts... I have never done that with steak. Is it really that good? I typically go with salt pepper and garlic.0
