I'm going to start introducing my lifts in my form videos now.

    Did I do that wrong?

It's cute. Kind of funny. Just made me laugh. You don't have to say anything lol.

    I liked it!

I recently had a similar experience. I stripped all the weight offof the bar and started from scratch. I work on mobiliy and i record my sets and watch them as i rest. Maybe not ideal, but it is helping me. Plus, the couple that called my attentiion to what i was doing wrong are gracious enough to watch one of my sets every couple of days. I guess in that respecti am lucky. Good luck to you! I hope you find something that helps. And dont use running shoes

    Ok, New can of worms:

The rest of my lifts are fine and progressing. If I drop the weight on squats, do I run the risk of creating an imbalance? Does it mean I should drop the weight on DLs too? That would make me unhappy. :'(
    No & no.

If your form is off, the best thing for the long run is to start at the heaviest weight you hold form and progress from there.

Imbalance? No, every body has one by definition. Continue on with the compound lifts with good form and they work themselves out.

No reason ever to drop the weight of another compound lift that is working and good form. Keep strong, don't detrain for the sake of another lift.

i don't think so. my squat has been in and out of the shop all my lifting 'life', getting tinkered with and taken apart, and my own trainer never said a thing about holding my other lifts back to keep it company. in fact he's more prone to saying 'well, if you can't squat then it's a damn good thing you can still deadlift at least'.

i've never heard of anyone being told their posterior chain was too strong and they needed to work on their quads ;) you know? i mean, maybe such a person exists and i've been tempted to try and turn myself into that person just out of perversity, but i don't think it's a thing.
