Weight loss help

So I'm kind of at a loss here, I am 20 years old and 230lbs. 8 weeks ago I decided to be healthy and try to lose weight. I started at 245. I eat 1200-1300 calories a day, exercise 6 days a week for an hour each day, alternating cardio and weights. I lost 15lbs in the first 3 weeks, but I have been stuck at 230 since. I literally don't know what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have any advice for me? I am also 2 months post partum.

You are eating or trying to eat way too little, for your weight and as a mother. Are you breastfeeding? You are expecting weight loss to be linear, you are impatient, and you may be exhausting yourself at the gym.1

Unfortunately no I'm not breastfeeding. I wish I was I've heard it's easier if you are.. so should I up my calories a bit and cut back on the gym?0

It's not easier, many mothers get immense sweet cravings. Yes, you should stick to the calories MFP gave you (if you have adjusted the calories manually, go back to setup). You will lose weight if you log your intake correctly, and hit that target, and don't cheat. You don't have to exercise at all if you don't have to, but moderate exercise is good for you.2
