How to not give in to peer pressure?

Hi there! I am an 18 year old, 5'8", female university student. I started my journey in November 2016 when I weighed 10 stone 6. By summer 2017 I weighed 9 stone 5.
Then I started university living in catered halls and surrounded by friends who literally live off fast food.
The first month of university we had dominos at least 4 times a week because they offered free pizza and literally everyone in my group wanted it. Now I feel bad if I don't go out to eat with them but the places where they go literally don't have healthy options.
Not only that but I am in catered halls meaning that food is provided for me and when I see cake put in front of me I really can't resist.
I gained weight until I was 11 stone in the space of 2 months, although within this time I was also diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety so that didn't help.
The thing is my mental health is rather linked with my weight as if I am slim I have less self-esteem issues. Now I can't bare to look at photos of myself.
The thing is I realised that it is because of the social pressure of not wanting to feel left out (and my love for junk food!).
Now that I am home for the holidays I have already lost weight and am back down to 10 stone 6 and it's great.
I just need to keep losing weight when I go back to university and I was looking for some tips.

It isn't type of food but eating too many calories for you that will make you gain.
Take smaller portions of higher calorie foods and pair them with lower calorie foods like vegetables.
Have 1 or 2 slices of pizza with a salad. Get a thin crust pizza.
Have cake once a week if you can't fit it in every day.
Watch portions of rice, pasta, cheese, dips, nuts, chips, salad dressings, condiments, gravy.
Get grilled meats instead of fried or breaded.
Plan what you will eat that day. Try to get enough protein.
You can cut calories with drinks. Drink water, unsweetend tea or diet soda. Skip putting a bunch of sugar or cream in coffee.
Stock up on some low calorie snacks.
Stay active.
When I was in college our cafeteria always had sandwiches and pizza besides the entree and side dishes of the day. There was always a salad bar or waffles or cereal. Once a week my friends and I pooled our resources and bought ingredients to make chili or lasagna or something together. We would share one plate of nachos or one large pizza with at least 6 people.1
