Hello,

I’m here begging for friends!! :-p

I’m 30, from London, England and, after destroying my metabolism via a strict (very, very strict: no cheat days, unnecessarily obsessive) I lost 70lbs and ended up at 20% bodyfat. I could not lower it no matter what I tried over 8 or 9 months. At 1400 calories I began losing strength and muscle rapidly. No fat loss, however.

My goal now, then, is to rapidly gain muscle in the hope that I’ll be able to “cut” by the summer with a fixed metabolism. Now, my trouble is that, over December, after serious flu and dislocating my knee at Crossfit (damn them; total refund received) I have had a layoff of a month. I’m currently fighting serious DOMs and fat gain and attempting to rebuild my endurance. I have lost no strength at all. My confidence, however, is shaken. By the end of next week I hope to be back at my previous training frequency. Could do with some help and advice, though.

If you have had experience wrecking your metabolism or building muscle while still a bit flabby, I would appreciate all the more that you add me. I long ago deleted my friends list as I was repeatedly sickened by people straight up starving themselves. I have seen where this leads. So, please, if you have experience in training and nutrition (not diet and exercise) I would love to hear from you.
