am i the only one who feels like they need to practically lick the last rice grain off the plate? all the planning, cooking, storing, logging, weighing makes me kinda like i'm not letting that last piece of broccoli get away.

Yep! It's like, I weighed and logged it - I'm eating it all! I even lick the knife after spreading peanut butter - that's MINE!

Then again, sometimes I don't eat something I've logged. Like a roll at dinner that I decide I don't want. Which means I can have more ice cream. :)

I literally scrape every single grain of rice out of the bowl when I finish soaking and washing, and when I cook it

I deglaze the pan with water to make a quick gravy when I cook a steak and add it to the plate, I'm not leaving all those sticky meat juices behind with all that goodness (I use venison meat)

If I'm logging it, I'm eating it

You are not alone! Clearly there are a lot of us that do this. If I really feel as though I can't finish, I just figure it's either a few extra calories to go toward my deficit or a few extra calories of wiggle room for my snack later.

The other day my 22 year old daughter tried to steal a sip of my wine. I yelled at her and told her to pour her own that I measured and accounted for every mouthful of that wine lol

I will, literally, eat every rice grain from a burrito bowl.
