L-sit flexibility

hey guys, I want to start some hard body weight workouts, and i hear that L-sits are a great goal to go for. the problem is, the first step of progression, the l-sit with toes touching the ground, is outside my flexibility range! i can only straighten my legs out if my hips are far more forward than my arms, which isnt how the weight distribution of an L-sit should be. any tips on how i can fix either that flexibility or a different way to progress towards L sits? (i stretch daily)
