Fasting

Anyone else fasting? I am having all kinds of success with fasting and being in a caloric deficit. Getting. Back on keto now that holidays are over. Typically fast 16-23 hours everyday. Over the holidays I fell off the wagon. Down 24.6lbs since December 1/2017. Completed 2 x 48hr fasts since then as well. Shooting for a 7 day long term fast. Anyone have experience with long term water fasts?

...Why. My body likes food. I like food. I like muscles. Muscles are sexy. My body would eat my muscles if i starved self for an extended period. My heart is a muscle. NO thanks. I like being alive and healthy and energetic15

Fasting for 16 hrs per day and eating enough calories during the other 8 hrs is fine. 48 hour fasts or anything longer than that is not helpful long term and can cause damage to your health. Stick with the 16:8 if that works for you.15

How does 48 fasts turn into wanting to do 7 day fasts? Does 7 day fasts turn into 2 week fasts?
Definitely say bye to your muscle mass not mention all the crazy side effects coming your way.8 -

I fast for weight loss on occasion and have for decades, but there is a healthy and reasonable way to do it and there is starving yourself for 7 days and never the twain shall meet6

Wait, you lost 23 pounds in 5 weeks? That's WAY to aggressive, unless you were directed by a doctor to do it for severe obesity.3
