I had my last Diet Coke on January 1, 2017 and I am happy to say I seem to have this issue licked.
Currently I have stopped snacking in my car and increase my aerobic activity, these to things alone should give me reduced weight and an improved level of fitness.
What is everyone else doing?

I stopped grazing and started eating regular meals.
I started weighing myself daily.
I stopped trying to cut things out, instead have it in more reasonable amounts and less frequently.
I stopped deluding myself about going to the gym, instead I walk, dance and play more.
I stopped feeling sorry for myself.
I started improve my sleep.

I'm heavily addicted to Diet Coke. Reading that you have given it up I'm guessing there has to be a good reason for this. Is there a link between Diet Coke and weight gain?0
