How many gallons of fat have you lost?

A scale tells you that you weigh more, or less, but what does that look like?
Here is a visual image that you can wrap your brain around.
1 US gallon of milk takes up the same space as 7.8lbs of fat --- (231 cubic inches, or 3,785cc)
20lbs of fat is the same size as 2.56/gal of milk --- (591 cubic inches)
So, how many gallons of fat have you lost?
3.67 gallons for me.
1gal = 7.8lbs
2gal = 15.6lbs
3gal = 23.4lbs
4gals = 31.2lbs
5gals = 39lbs
For those challenged by math (Weight you have lost in lbs / 7.8) = gallons
More visuals:
1lb of fat is 29.05 cubic inches, or a cube 3.09 inches on each side
1lb of muscle is 23.89 cubic inches, or a cube 2.88 inches on each side
Stack up the 5 dice in Yahtzee... that is about the difference in size between the two.
So if you lose 10lbs of fat, and gain 10lbs of muscle, the scale says you weigh the same, but you will be 50 dice (51.6 cubic inches) smaller.

Volume, as I was going for a visual comparison.
So go to the grocery store, line up 5 gallons & 3 quarts of milk, and try to imagine you being that much bigger than you are now.

I wouldn't even know where that would go on me!0 -
If it helps any, a normal size for a ream of paper is 2.5x8.5x11 = 187 cubic inches...
so 1.24 reams of paper per gallon
5.77 x 1.24 = 7.13 reams of paper...
So a ream on each thigh, and each arm, one on your stomach, one on your back, and one on the butt.
No one has ever said I think normal.
That might actually work as a better visualization...
A ream of paper takes up about the same amount of space as 6.31 lbs of fat.
12.62lbs of fat = 2 reams
18.93lbs of fat = 3 reams
25.24 = 4 reams
31.55 = 5 reams
50.48lbs = 8 reams
63.1lbs = 10 reams
